<p>We&#8217;ve been snowed in for days now. It&#8217;s too chilly to go outside for a walk even. My son and I made it about 8 blocks yesterday, then turned around and headed home. Sadly, my favorite earflap hat has recently died too. Not good timing. I&#8217;ve been looking for a cool organic earflap hat without much luck, (some luck) but I did find many Fair Trade winter goodies.</p>
<p>I found these <strong><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=CTvPuXgWcZ0&amp;offerid=45320.709432776&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">Alpaca Earflap Hats And Caps</a></strong> (see above) which are nice, but not exactly in colors I totally adore. They&#8217;re still pretty cute though and Fair Trade. They&#8217;re made from environmentally responsible 100% alpaca wool.<br />
<span id="more-284"></span><br />
<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-286" title="fair-trade-winter-hats-rei" src="http://www.greenbeautyandstyleslices.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/fair-trade-winter-hats-rei.jpg" alt="fair-trade-winter-hats-rei" width="430" height="158" /><br />
I found the three hats above at <a href="http://www.rei.com/">REI</a> (not organic) but Fair Trade and made with sustainable materials.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.rei.com/product/756486">Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat</a></strong></li>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.rei.com/product/761206">Sherpa Adventure Gear Jiri Hat</a></strong></li>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.rei.com/product/691088?siteId=cjIsd2x-it3792&amp;URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rei.com%2Fproduct%2F691088&amp;PID=1992680&amp;cm_mmc=CJ-_-Aff-_-1992680-_-10456937&amp;AID=10456937">Icelandic Design Nepalese Earflap Hat</a></strong></li>
</ol>
<p>I like the first one best, although, the gray is cool because it&#8217;s nice and simple, yet won&#8217;t show grime like the white one.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-287" title="sage-winter-organic-hat" src="http://www.greenbeautyandstyleslices.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/sage-winter-organic-hat.jpg" alt="sage-winter-organic-hat" width="346" height="400" /></p>
<p>I really like the sage <strong><a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?u=308074&amp;b=108535&amp;m=15715&amp;afftrack=&amp;urllink=www%2Enimli%2Ecom%2Fdetail%5F17948%5F%5F1268%2Ehtml">Autonomie Project Organic Cotton Hand Knit Hat</a></strong> above. It&#8217;s cute and looks really soft, but I&#8217;m not sure about the earflap coverage. It seems slim.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-288" title="winter-etsy-hats" src="http://www.greenbeautyandstyleslices.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/winter-etsy-hats.jpg" alt="winter-etsy-hats" width="430" height="210" /></p>
<p>Lastly, I like the <strong><a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&amp;listing_id=18819393">berry bramble hat</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18819109">wood and water hat</a></strong> from <strong><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=54963">cosy knits</a></strong>. Not exactly earflap hats, but way cute, completely one-of-a-kind, and made from recycled sweaters. Adorable! <strong><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=54963">Many more styles to see too</a></strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Have you seen any cool organic hats lately? </strong></p>
