Comment Policy

Anyone real can leave a comment here at Green Beauty & Style Slices. I love to talk, I love blog comments. If you leave a comment I will always try my best to respond.

That said there are some comment rules.

Leaving your link in your comment name is fine, but if your linked website looks spammy to me I’ll delete your comment.

If your comment text is peppered with links, expect to be deleted. If you want me to check out your killer links, a better way to get me to do that is to contact me.

If you argue in a comment fine. If you’re an obnoxious jerk who makes everyone feel bad, I’ll delete your comments. Be real, give real opinions, say you hate an item even, but please be respectful while doing so.

Mainly, if you’re a real and decent human you won’t have any problems. If you’re a spammy mean human I suppose I don’t care if you have problems here.

A word about business discussions in comments:

I don’t mind someone, say offering an idea about where to get green lipstick in the post comments – if said post was about lipstick. If you leave some huge eco t-shirt review in a post’s comments, and said post is about organic face wash, it doesn’t relate, and I’ll likely delete it.

If you’re a green company owner or green retailer:

You may be the coolest eco-company on earth. You may be a perfect fit for Green Beauty & Style Slices readers. Still, discussing your shop or products in the comments, you have to admit, is a little spammy. If you want a link here, or some props for your amazing eco-product, you can contact me. Tell me about your company or product. There’s a good chance I’ll write a post about it. I get a post idea, you get a plug and a link, no spam questions arise, and it’s all good.
